U-Type Valve
A U-Type Valve (also known as a membrane valve) consists of an actuator and a U-type valve body with two ports, an elastomeric membrane, and a weir (saddle/seat) against which the membrane seals to close the valve. This design provides both a body seal and a seat seal, ensuring reliable, leak-proof performance.
The valve offers complete isolation from the external environment, making it especially suitable for aseptic and hygienic processes in the biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical industries. The valve body is constructed from Stainless Steel 316L, and all media-contact parts are mirror polished to meet strict hygiene standards. It is commonly supplied with pneumatic operation for accurate and dependable control.
